5 Counts of Murder

Life.

There's this girl I met
Long time with her I spent
She's got chinky eyes that work up a smile
Whenever she sees you passing by
She's got this buttoned nose carved
In her tiny bubbly face
She was nice, seems different
But all you think you knew
Might make you a bit upset
She came into the world
All the blame was on her hands
They're supposed to be two
But the other was gone
And her mama said to her:
"You are selfish, you are untrue
You have killed your sister, too."
From that day on
Like a sticker glued into her mind
"I am selfish, I'm untrue
I have killed my sister, too."

Dreams.

She sang once
And she sings even more
Playing tune after another
Driving one destination to the next
All those times she went with her mother
All those times she was tired
And came to loathe her
One day, her mama asked her to sing
But she refused, without a word even spoken
Then, her mama cried and said:
"I just wanted to hear you sing
But you just trashed my little dream
From this day on
I don't want to hear you sing.
No more."
Then she told herself:
"I am selfish, I'm untrue
I have killed my mother, too."

Hope.

She had a brother
Just younger by two
She played and went with him
And wrestled with him
After they woke up in bed
He was caring and kind and funny
Sometimes naughty, too
But she was unthoughtful, uncaring
And she didn't have the time to listen
To her brother's dilemma and sentiment
He went far, far away
And she couldn't reach him
Then she realized
"I am selfish, I'm untrue
I have killed my brother, too."

Love.

She met him
He met her
Fate unfolded
Destiny intertwined
Just like a sunset in the afternoon sky
She felt she could fly
She was in love
She was happy
She was blind
To see that everything isn't going fine
But she loved him
And so did he
But they have to be apart and break free
So she told him half of the truth
That their love isn't anything worth
"I am selfish, I'm untrue
I have killed my lover, too."

Trust.

Too blind she couldn't see
That the world was slipping
And her father saw it well
He doubted her
Glitter in the eye
Flickered, gone in cold daylight
And on the corner there it was
And she mistrusted
And she distrusted
And she untrusted
"I am selfish, I'm untrue
I have killed my father, too."

And there you think you knew
But then took it back
Everything being swallowed
But there is still one thing you didn't know
And is still worth fighting for
Alas! She is selfish.
Yes! She is untrue.
And had killed many
Thousands of people
In just a single snap
That shabby face sheds
And you see a darker side

Don't judge.

She who have killed many
Had long been guilty
She who closed the doors
And leaned to the comforts of the room
She who cried silently
Wondered what punishment would it be
A punishment that fits her in
And  might set her free?
She marveled at the thought
That she got a disease that left her lying,
Would someone lift her body dying?
She had once been curious of acids,
Would someone care?
Would someone notice that every night she sleeps
In her pillow she weeps?

A clown.

She who thinks that she can make everyone happy
No matter how odd she looks
She who thinks that she can make everyone laugh
Making herself pathetic
She who thinks she can make everyone smile
Showing her tricks
Yes. A clown.
What she duly thinks it's her passion
Her goal, her dream, her life
Funny gestures
Off-key anecdotes
Corny jokes
Silly antics
Wide smile
Stupid laugh
No one might understand
Her life was ruins
Trying to build it up
She who makes me happy
Isn't the greatest person
A she who isn't we
The she who is me.
